Flux Industries Unveils “Heavy” New Logo

HILL VALLEY, CA—Flux Industries, the global leader in temporal displacement technology, has unveiled a new corporate identity. This rebranding reflects the history of the company while looking ahead to a bright future that promises a fax machine in every bathroom.

The new interlocking mark is inspired by the iconic three-pronged design of the original Flux Capacitor, while also containing subtle references to the various sources of power known to generate 1.21 gigawatts of electricity.

Founder and CEO Emmett L. Brown emphasized the timing behind the rebrand, “The way I see it, if you're gonna redesign your logo, why not do it with some style?” Besides, as we approach the 60th anniversary of when I first invented time travel, I figured… what the hell?”

When asked about the creative process that led to the new mark, lead designer Dave Barton elaborated, “It’s simple, really. I traveled into the future to see what I would design, then I just recreated what I had already done. It’s not plagiarism since I’m only copying myself. Heavy, right?”
